Psyche Estuary

Welcome

Like a mangrove estuary that nurtures life and withstands storms, I hope this practice will be a safe and supportive space for you to explore your inner world and grow more resilient over time

My name is Thao Tran (pronounced Tao).

I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychotherapist who believes that healing begins with developing a deeper understanding of yourself within a safe, consistent, and supportive therapeutic relationship.

My practice is integrative, combining medication management and psychotherapy tailored to your unique needs. I draw on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic foundations to explore the patterns and experiences that shape who you are, while weaving in mindfulness-based strategies and cognitive tools - such as reframing unhelpful thoughts, recognizing emotional triggers, and building healthier thinking habits - to support both self-discovery and everyday functioning.

I work with adults (+18) navigating depression, anxiety, work or school stress, relationship and family concerns, and major life transitions. Together, we focus on understanding your experiences and developing more effective ways of coping, so you can feel more grounded, resilient, and fulfilled.
